Some words
Howdy.
Thank you for stopping by and digging so deep in this abyss that you even stumbled across something that some peeps may refer to as an ARTIST STATEMENT, so here it goes.
I like to make art, I've done it since I was a child in different ways. I intend to keep doing it till the day I cease to exist. I am left-handed, I often daydream, I have a flavour for the more ambient, atmospheric, moody, melancholic art, regardless if we talk music, film, or paintings. There is a existential vertigo that I, often unknowingly, seem to use as a vessel for anything I make or consume.
My subjects are mostly figure-based paintings with a cold palette. I divert to isolation, loneliness and somber themes but my ambition is to bring the secret spice of absurdity to my work.
